Barbara Carper

"Pretty Pansies from my Garden"

Is there anything as pretty as a pansy's face poking out in a springtime garden?  Well, maybe yes, when there are hundreds of them looking up together!  Multicolored and fanciful, these little darlings evoke loving thoughts and feelings.  This wreath tries to capture the variety of colors and beauty of nature's little gems.  Fashioned in both cotton and silks using the prepared edge method of applique, the flowers are embellished with embroidery, beads, pearls, and silk ribbons.  The design covers an area of approximately 15" x 15".

While Barbara loves using silks, you may not.  Choosing to use only cottons fabrics will also give you spectacular results!
