This project is inspired by various antique Jacobean Crewel Embroidery projects as well as the Rachael Meyer quilt from the 19th century.  My imagination after seeing these beauties, is that they must have been dreaming as they created these lovely projects because I have certainly never seen such large floral arrangements that would fit such realistic animals and other interesting pictorials underneath them!   This wool project is 25” x 21.75” unfinished.  The class will focus on wool applique’, including cutting very small pieces with perfection and offer several stitching options.  This project will be lovely as a framed piece or presented as a quilt with a backing and binding to finish it off as you desire.
